Meet the Team

Owner and artist Celene Brooke has had a passion and flair for art from a very young age. Getting accepted for her tattoo apprenticeship was a dream come true.

Turning her journey from apprentice to studio owner, with over 17 years in the industry, The Krypt was born.

Today, The Krypt has grown into a talented team bringing diverse skills and services to the studio — a family business built on passion, creativity, and community.

More Than a Tattoo Studio

The Krypt isn't just about tattoos and body art — it's a wellbeing hub at the heart of the Cleckheaton community.

Celene and the team are passionate about supporting local people through mindfulness sessions, wellness workshops, guitar lessons, and mental health initiatives — many offered free to the community. They believe everyone deserves a welcoming space where they can feel supported.

The studio has partnered with local businesses like Cosy Cabin in Brighouse and Jude's Retro Arcade to support charities including the Bradford Bandits BMX Racing Club, collecting and donating bicycles to help young people in the area.
